Prep Scholars recently went to the Indiana Repository Theater to see a play about the life and sacrifices of Jackie Robinson. The scholars were engaged and really eager to join the conversation about the heroic contributions of Mr. Robinson.
Mr. Micah Poole (Grade 7) wrote that the scene of the play that resonated with him most was "a scene of Jackie overcoming...adversity...when the Dodgers played the Phillies. In this scene, pitchers were throwing baseballs at Jackie's head. In that game Jackie stole three straight bases...including home."
